RENGA: Autumn Shadow

Shiver down my spine
The leaves crunch beneath my feet
The wait is too long.

Wind hisses between branches
Birds scatter, dark wings rise up

A dark figure there
In the gray mist before me,
shovel in his hand.

  1. Wow! Another really good patched-together poem! Maybe this is becoming a theme... Very few of the poems we did in class actually flowed this well, but this is one of them. I thought mine was good, but this is flawless! Really well done, and the picture accompanying it really helps establish the atmosphere; well done!
