My eyes went red and my lips all puffy
We were on the way back from class that day
And then my throat and palate were itchy
I said, "I need water! I'm allergic!"
But my mom and sister just laughed at me
They then said, "We'll get home soon,
don't panic."
I slouched back down but I was still antsy.
We were getting closer and closer now
I was ready to take off my seat belt
Tried to keep still but I didn't know how
We then pulled into the place where we dwelt
Ran upstairs and took my camera out
Turned it around and put on my best pout.
This actually has me giggling like a small child right now as I'm reading it. It's probably the picture, but it's actually hilarious! Of course, I'm sorry that happened, but the fact that your mom and sister just laughed at you is kind of funny to me :P

Ok so I love this sonnet! It's absolutely hilarious! I love how you took such a unique subject and made it into a well written poem. Like Eric mentioned it had good rythm and your use of true rhymes was well done thrown in with the occasional slant rhymes like "puffy" and "itchy." Well done!
